 - too bad it's almost $3000. I can dream right?
 It would be such a cute book shelf in Ames' someday nursery -

- as much as I love Freshly Picked moccasins, I just can't justify the $60, but these ones by Sophie Kate are just as cute, especially at half the price -


 - I'm going to have to try my hand at making some of these. SO adorable! -




I'm also really loving this quote...


Women really have changed over the years. "Why make it when you can buy it" seems to be the world's philosophy these days.
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of things I buy instead of making myself, but it's sad to see how many dying arts there are.
This makes me want to get my butt in gear and go make something!

I found this recipe on  Just Cook Already  a few weeks ago and finally tried it for dinner tonight. It was a HUGE hit with Landon. He even said it's one of his top 5 favorite meals I've made so that should say a lot. So I thought I would share the recipe with ya'll... 2013

2013 has been one amazing year!  Here are some of the highlights that made it so great... Quitting my job to stay at home, start up this blog/design business, and eventually be a mom Becoming pregnant and giving birth to baby Ames  Finding a love for riding bikes and discovering trails across Iowa Landon graduating from law school Running my first 5k Making unforgettable friends and memories while living in Iowa  Trips home to Utah and eventually our move back Vacations to Mexico, Lake Powell, Nauvoo, St. Louis, and Minneapolis  Landon's first deer hunt - which he will never be able to top! :)  Adding several temples to my temple journal list Everything we've been through and experienced this year has helped us to grow and change for the better.
