Lately

This weekend we had a cute little house guest. 
Meet Sammi.


She is the sweetest little thing and Thor was pretty jealous. 


I pulled out my J.Crew heart me sweater for our Valentine's date night. I paired it with my new leather leggings! You can't really tell in this pic that they are leather, but I love them! Thanks Lando! 


Landon and I have been trying to eat better and we've been doing really good, so I surprised Landon with a few of his favorite treats for Valentine's. The duffle bag is for all of his "shooting stuff"

Overall it was a pretty low key weekend, but I loved it!

I found this recipe on  Just Cook Already  a few weeks ago and finally tried it for dinner tonight. It was a HUGE hit with Landon. He even said it's one of his top 5 favorite meals I've made so that should say a lot. So I thought I would share the recipe with ya'll... 2013

2013 has been one amazing year!  Here are some of the highlights that made it so great... Quitting my job to stay at home, start up this blog/design business, and eventually be a mom Becoming pregnant and giving birth to baby Ames  Finding a love for riding bikes and discovering trails across Iowa Landon graduating from law school Running my first 5k Making unforgettable friends and memories while living in Iowa  Trips home to Utah and eventually our move back Vacations to Mexico, Lake Powell, Nauvoo, St. Louis, and Minneapolis  Landon's first deer hunt - which he will never be able to top! :)  Adding several temples to my temple journal list Everything we've been through and experienced this year has helped us to grow and change for the better.
