About Me

Ok so I didn't get tagged on Instagram, but I thought it would be fun to do one still, although mine is much longer...

-1- I don't really like candy or soda/pop unless its Barq's Root Beer or chocolate

-2- With the mind of a designer, I'm always picking apart any house I go in, but please don't let this stop you from inviting me over :)

-3- I'm a shopaholic. I think this is the first time I've really admitted this. But I'm doing my best to recover from this addiction.

-4- The hardest thing I've ever gone through (and there are definitely other competitors) is miscarrying my first pregnancy and the hardest thing I will go through is when I lose my mother. She is my absolute best friend.

-5- Sometimes I dream of being the granola type that only eats healthy food, rides a bike everywhere, goes camping and hiking for a month, and only uses "green" products. ha... and maybe sometimes I actually pretend I am :)

-6- My dream job is to do the window and store displays at Anthropologie. But I will "settle" for having my own interior/floral design business. This my plan when we get back from Iowa. I can't wait to get started!

-7- I was planning on going to school to become an art therapist before I got married, but after a semester at BYU I kept being prompted to apply for the interior design program at LDSBC. Heavenly Fathers knows what he's doing ;)

-8- I'm not a very headstrong or opinionated person, but when I do have an opinion---I HAVE AN OPINION.

-9- I dream of being the homeowner with the best yard in the neighborhood. My parents are very good gardeners and I hope to take on the challenge.

-10- I'm actually pretty good at math for being a right brained person. Just don't ask me to do it in my head or to do is fast.

-11- I have a horrible memory when it comes to remembering facts. I can remember things long enough to use them for a test, but ask me months or years later, and if I haven't used it on a daily basis I won't remember. I have to have something visual to remember it by or it's gone.

-12- I hate being in trouble. I'm totally the one that always follows the rules. I wanted to burst into tears if I got called out for doing something wrong in school.

-13- I feel like people often take me as a rude or stuck up person because I'm so quiet and reserved. I'm not one to start up a conversation or just go up to someone and make friends. I've gotten much better at this over the years, but I'm still working on it. The truth is, I'm happy to talk to or be friends with anyone, it's just hard for me to initiate.

-14- The only "dates" I went on before I started dating Landon where 2 girls choice dances in high school. But I've never been more sure of any decision than the one to marry Landon.

-15- Probably the gutsiest thing I've done is ask my crush of 4 years to one of those girls choice dances, because I'm pretty sure he had to look up who I was :)

-16- Landon knew I was actually in to him when I just happened to walk by his house with my dog when he was outside. ;)
