About Me

Ok so I didn't get tagged on Instagram, but I thought it would be fun to do one still, although mine is much longer... -1- I don't really like candy or soda/pop unless its Barq's Root Beer or chocolate -2- With the mind of a designer, I'm always picking apart any house I go in, but please don't let this stop you from inviting me over :) -3- I'm a shopaholic. I think this is the first time I've really admitted this. But I'm doing my best to recover from this addiction. -4- The hardest thing I've ever gone through (and there are definitely other competitors) is miscarrying my first pregnancy and the hardest thing I will go through is when I lose my mother. She is my absolute best friend. -5- Sometimes I dream of being the granola type that only eats healthy food, rides a bike everywhere, goes camping and hiking for a month, and only uses "green" products. ha... and maybe sometimes I actually pretend I am :) -6- My dream job is to ...

E-Design Services

Now that I'm no longer working at J.Crew I have decided to get back into what I have always wanted to do.... interior design! I'm so excited to be doing it again. I won't be fully starting up my business until we get back to Utah in December/January, but in the meantime I will be taking on a few e-design clients.  Basically you send me pics and dimensions of your room as well as some inspiration and a description of your vision for the room. Then I will get to work and within a week send you back a floor plan layout, mood board, and source list of where you can purchase the items.  Because I'm not officially starting my business yet, I will not be getting into custom upholstery or actually purchasing the items for you, but I can still put together a great room and give you some direction.  I will charge a flat fee per room so just shoot me an email if you are interested and I will give you more details! lexiesandberg@gmail.com Below are 2 recent projects ...

I looked forward to it for so long and now it's over, but I can honestly say I was ready to come back to our home away from home in Iowa. A month is a long time to be away from your bed and your own space :) We had such a great time and I have A TON to post about, but today is not the day. If you follow me on Instagram you saw my post about how much crap we fit in our car and now I have the pleasure of putting it all away, doing all the laundry that didn't get done at my parents', and getting our house back in order. So here are a few pics from Cancun and I'll see you again soon with some more from our adventures.  Mayan Village  Coba   I did a lot of this. It was between 70-80 degrees the whole week! Ahh I wish I was there again now :)  View from the room  Bike ride to Coba Landon played beach volleyball with all the Europeans and Canadians  (I swe...
