Thankful

Wanted to start a daily "thankful list" even though I am a little late....

Nov. 1

I'm thankful to be living in Iowa right now. As much as I hate it sometimes and as hard as it has been for me to be away from home, I have learned things, grown in ways I never could, and met new people I never would have had we not come here.

I'm thankful for Landon. I really can't imagine being married to anyone else. He is the perfect balance to me in every way. He knows how to make me laugh when I'm ornery, usually because "I hate it here" (Iowa) :) He is a great provider. He loves me when I don't deserve it. Even after 3 1/2 years of being married there are many days that I get giddy inside knowing he will be home when I get there. (Sometimes we don't see too much of each other with school and work)

I'm thankful for loving parents. They may not be perfect just like everyone else, but I have always known that they love me and are trying to do what is best. They have also taught me to love the Gospel.
My mom has always been my best friend. She probably gets sick of my phone calls home to her. I have learned countless things from her.
My dad taught me the importance of attending church every week, how to fish, mow the lawn, golf, that family should come before work, the importance of forgiveness, and much more.
I also credit my parents for helping me to become one of those girls that's not afraid to get dirty or go camping :)
