An Exciting Year Ahead...

We have quite the year ahead of us.

2011 will consist of:

  • Landon graduating from Weber w/ a Bachelor's in Economics


  • Me graduating from LDSBC w/ an Associate's in Interior Design


  • Trip to Jamaica


  • New primary class


  • Law School


  • Moving out of state


  • and many more unexpected adventures!



The new year also started out with a new bedroom for us...













My awesome mother in law gave us this new duvet for Christmas, my talented mom made me the adorable ruffle pillow (it may look familiar if you've seen the cute pillows from Plush Studio), and Landon gave me the sunburst mirror for my birthday, (Can you believe I found it at Michael's!?) and I found the tufted headboard online for a steal.

I found this recipe on  Just Cook Already  a few weeks ago and finally tried it for dinner tonight. It was a HUGE hit with Landon. He even said it's one of his top 5 favorite meals I've made so that should say a lot. So I thought I would share the recipe with ya'll... Greek Tacos {i adjusted this recipe to serve just 2 of us.} M arinade 2-4 large chicken breasts in this Greek Salad Dressing. 2013

2013 has been one amazing year!  Here are some of the highlights that made it so great... Quitting my job to stay at home, start up this blog/design business, and eventually be a mom Becoming pregnant and giving birth to baby Ames  Finding a love for riding bikes and discovering trails across Iowa Landon graduating from law school Running my first 5k Making unforgettable friends and memories while living in Iowa  Trips home to Utah and eventually our move back Vacations to Mexico, Lake Powell, Nauvoo, St. Louis, and Minneapolis  Landon's first deer hunt - which he will never be able to top! :)  Adding several temples to my temple journal list Everything we've been through and experienced this year has helped us to grow and change for the better.
