Gratitude

This past Sunday I gave a lesson on Gratitude to my Young Women. It really got me thinking. I think that lesson was more for me than anyone else. I used a lot of material from President Monson's talk on finding joy in the journey... "I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not, I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Flowers, Fragrances, & Fall

Here's a peek at some of the floral work I've done over the past little while... The blue and orange centerpieces are from my childhood friend Kristi's wedding this past summer.     This centerpiece is from a September wedding. I LOVED how this turned out. It looked even better in person. There were 3 different colored roses that I color blocked into waves that wrapped around the side of the arrangement. You can kind of see it in the picture. But as I said, it was SO awesome in person. I was quite proud of myself. I was in the floral design zone that day. :) The yellow, orange, and eggplant (seen on the ribbon accents) is from a friend's wedding in May.
