Sandberg Ramblings

This past weekend we headed up to Island Park, Idaho with Landon's family. We did LOTS of fishing (as always), some four-wheeling, and took a ride up to Yellowstone where we watched Old Faithful, saw "Guys & Dolls" at the Playmill, and had some yummy pizza! The play was really good, we would highly recommend it! We would also highly recommend going to Pete's Rocky Mountain Pizza as well! (Across from Budd Lilly's Fly Shop) P.S. Get the "White Pizza". Sadly I wasn't a very good photographer on this trip and only got a few fishing and scenery shots, but hey at least I took pictures right!? Thanks to Landon's family for a fun time! Oh and guess what!? I finally caught my first fish on a fly rod, Landon was so proud! :) He's a great teacher!

Dane Gibson Lowry, our new nephew is finally here! Born Friday, July 31st! 7 lbs. 10 oz. 21 inches long. Man we're lucky, a new niece and nephew in one week! They're a couple of cuties! Congrats Mandy, Sam, & Luke!

Before a month full of working Saturdays, we decided to head out for a little camping trip up at Mirror Lake. Landon wasn't about to pay $16 to stay at a campground so we found a cozy little spot down by the Provo River away from the road and the herd of people that also decided to go camping this weekend. Landon did an awesome job planning the whole trip, food and all. Of course we did some fishing, had tin foil dinners and s'mores, and stopped by the Provo River Falls. BEAUTIFUL! A short little getaway was just what we needed. Now home again home again!
